We currently operate as a strictly ecommerce Internet business. This is the best way for us to keep our costs down and in turn extend our products to you at greatly reduced prices.

Our online boutique is open 24/7 for your convenience, to browse our showrooms and place your orders. If you have any questions or concerns, the best way to contact us is by email. You may email us 24/7, and someone from customer service will reply to your email during our normal business hours. Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday from  ( 9:00am to 5:00pm ET). We are committed to protecting your privacy. The information we collect about you is merely to process your order and to provide a more personalized shopping experience. Please note, that none of the personal information you submit to us, is sold or rented to others, this includes your e-mail address. Customer data is used in order for us to be able to process your order. We are very adamant when it comes to protecting your privacy. 

Do you offer catalogs of your products?

Our extensive inventory of products are all shown at our online boutique http://www.bikinisunshine.com at our website showrooms. This is the best way for us to keep our costs down and in turn extend our products to you at greatly reduced prices. Our designer lines of swimwear garments are available to you 24/7 for your convenience.  

May I personally pick up my order instead of having it shipped to me?

Unfortunately this is not possible, because all our products are typically shipped directly from a number of our warehouse locations to you, and they are not accessible to the general public.

How do I know what size to order?

To ensure that you select the correct swimwear size, please click on the "size chart" link next to the product you are ordering. The link will take you to the designer line size chart that corresponds to the product that you are viewing.

What payment terms can I use to pay for my order?

You may pay for your order by credit card, by debit card, or electronic check. Bikini Sunshine accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover Card. Please note that we do not accept personal checks as a means of payment. When paying by electronic check the funds must completely clear our bank account before your purchase order can begin to be processed.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Select PayPal Credit during check out.

Is my credit card information secure?

Yes. Your credit card and confidential information is very secure when you make a purchase using a credit card. Your information is automatically encrypted in transit using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL), which has an encryption key length of 128-bits, the highest level commercially available. Before you even register or log in, the server will check that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher. Your confidential information resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. The server sits behind an electronic firewall and is not directly connected to the internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers.

May I call in my order?

You will need to place your order through the shopping cart yourself, because of the extra added security measures that are taken when placing your order. You will be asked to choose two different security questions to answer (such as your city of birth or your pet's name) This required information is necessary in order to process transactions. You will be issued a new password should you forget or lose your password. This protects you against credit card fraud and checking account fraud.

What are your credit card payment policies?

Bikini Sunshine accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover Card. You may pay for your order by credit card, or by debit card. In order to protect all customers against potential fraud, the information you provide will be verified. In the course of such verification, the use of card authorization and fraud screening services will be used to verify that the credit card or debit card information as well as the address matches the information you supplied, and verification that the card has not been reported as lost or stolen will also be checked. An address is confirmed if the buyer’s credit card billing address matches his or her shipping address. (i.e., the address where you receive your credit card statement). Although the vast majority of unconfirmed addresses are not fraudulent, confirmed addresses, is offered as an additional layer of fraud protection. Confirmed addresses help guard against stolen credit cards and identity theft.

Can I cancel or make changes to my order?

You may request to cancel an order, or to change an order, without penalty, as long as your order has not already been processed, packaged or shipped. Please email us to make any changes to your order, within a few hours after you have placed your order. We typically begin to process your order within a 3 hour time frame in order to expedite your purchase order in a timely manner. Please, always have all your order information when you email us, and be clear on the changes you would like to have done to your purchase order.  We will do our very best to stop your order at whatever stage it is in, assuming it has not already been shipped.

If your purchase order has already been processed, packaged or shipped, then the cancellation will be considered as a merchandise return. Thus, (a) all restocking fees will apply.  (b) If your package has already been shipped, then all shipping charges are not refundable. (c) If your package has already been shipped, please read our Returns page, pertaining to the terms and conditions set forth in the Return and Exchange policy.

What if an item is out of stock?

If that is the case we will notify you via email within 1 to 2 business days. We will give you an estimated date that your order will be shipped. If upon receiving an email from Bikini Sunshine concerning your out of stock item, you opt to cancel the order for the item that is out of stock, we will gladly refund your purchase order for that item. If we do not receive a reply email with your decision, we will assume that you want us to continue processing your order and ship out your out of stock item as soon as it becomes available. Please email us back with a reply email so that there is no confusion about the order you have placed.

What happens if I request a partial shipment?

If an item is out of stock it will be manufactured for you at the factory here in the United States within 1 to 2 business days if you selected one of our Express Shipping choices during the checkout process. If you select ground shipping, your item will be manufactured and delivered within 10 business days.

How long will it take to receive my order?

The shipping guidelines set forth on our Shipping page pertain to orders that are paid for by credit card, the item (s) you have ordered is in stock in the size and color you selected, and there are no delays between email communications between "you" the customer and "us" the vendor, in the event a question arises pertaining to your order. Please keep in mind that during peek Holiday Seasons like Christmas, Valentine's Day and Halloween, Bikini Sunshine as well as Federal Express (FedEx) and the USPS, experience a heavier volume of packages to deliver than usual, and during these periods, it is advisable to place your purchase orders as soon as possible, to make sure that your package is delivered to you on time. 

Do you charge sales tax?

Since Bikini Sunshine is not required to collect sales tax for sales made in the State of Delaware, we do not charge any sales tax on any purchase orders that are made or delivered in Delaware or made in Delaware and delivered to any other location outside of Delaware.

How do I check the status of an order?

There are two ways to check the status of your order. First, if your order is not shipped out yet, refer to our Shipping page for the estimated time it takes to process your order before it is shipped. The shipping guidelines set forth on our Shipping page pertain to orders that are paid for by credit card and assuming that the item you have ordered is in stock in the size and color you selected and there are no delays between email communications between "you" the customer and "us" the vendor, in the event a question arises pertaining to your order. If your order has an item that is out of stock, we will email you within 1 to 2 business days after you have placed your order, with a shipping date for your out of stock item. If you are inquiring about the status of your order that is still in the processing stage and not shipped yet, and is over the shipping guidelines on our Shipping page, then by all means email us at sales@bikinisunshine.com and we will update you with your order status. Please when sending an email, do not forget to give us the name and address the order was placed under, and a brief description as well as the item number of the product you are inquiring about.

Secondly, if your order has been shipped, you will automatically receive a tracking number by emailed the day that your order has shipped, by 9:00pm Eastern Standard Time. That is when FedEx and the USPS upload tracking number information for the day. Please give the tracking number that is emailed to you at least 24 hours for tracking information to show up on the FedEx or USPS websites.

Why must my shipping address be verified?

What shipping carriers do you use?

Bikini Sunshine uses Federal Express and the United States Postal Service to ship your swimwear purchase.

Will I be able to track my order once it is shipped?

Yes. Your tracking number will be automatically emailed to you on the day that your order has shipped, by 9:00pm Eastern Standard Time. That is when FedEx and the United States Postal Service upload tracking number information for the day. Please give the tracking number that is emailed to you at least 24 hours for tracking information to show up on the FedEx and USPS websites.

Do you ship Internationally?

Yes. When placing your order please make sure that you select International Shipping during the checkout process, after you have submitted your billing information. Bikini Sunshine charges a flat shipping rate for all International orders. We will only ship an order to the Billing Address that corresponds to the credit card being used.  If the Billing Address of your credit card being used does not match your shipping address, then your order will be cancelled and declined. If this occurs you may choose to pay by electronic check through our shopping cart option. Once the electronic check clears our bank and the funds are securely deposited from your bank account to ours, then we will at that time ship your order.

Who pays for any Customs and Import Duties?

Please note that your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, tariffs, customs charges, DDP, VAT, and the like, once your package reaches your country. It is your responsibility to pay for these charges. Bikini Sunshine will not be responsible for paying these charges, and we will not bill you for such charges when you place your order. It is up to you and your responsibility only, to pay any required customs charges that your country requires you to pay, in order for you to receive your package. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for any packages that are confiscated by customs.

Please be aware that your package may take between, 1 week to 4 weeks, or longer to reach you, once your package is shipped. This can vary depending on the country the package is shipped to, as well as customs clearance and delivery to you.

Does Federal Express ship to a P.O. Box, APO or FPO address?

Please note that Federal Express does not deliver packages to a P.O. Box, APO or FPO address. 

What are your policies for "Refused" and "Undeliverable" packages?

If we ship a package to you and it comes back to us either as "Refused" or as "Undeliverable" due to a bad shipping address that was provided by the customer, you will have a choice of either receiving a refund for your purchase less shipping and handling charges, plus any return shipping charges, and a 25% restocking fee will be incurred for each item you have ordered. Also, if you received free shipping with your purchase a $13 shipping and handling charge will apply.  Otherwise, you may choose to have us re-ship the package back to you at your expense. Once you pay the shipping payment invoice we email to you, we will re-ship your merchandise back to you.

My package was dropped off at the address I gave on my order, but I did not find it?

Once the shipping carrier drops off your package with tracking information, at the address you give us on your order, the ownership of the package is turned over to you the buyer. If you are not going to be home, we recommend that you leave a note on your front door for the driver, with your name and the tracking number of the package, and instructions, to deliver your package on a date and time when someone will be home.

If a package is returned to us as Refused, Unclaimed, Undeliverable or needed to be Redirected?

If we ship a package to you and it comes back to us either as "Refused" "Unclaimed" "Undeliverable" or needs to be "Redirected" due to a bad shipping address that was provided by the customer, you will have a choice of either receiving a refund for your purchase less shipping and handling charges, plus any return shipping charges, and a 25% restocking fee will be incurred for each item you have ordered. Also, if you received free shipping with your purchase a $13 shipping and handling charge will apply.  Otherwise, you may choose to have us re-ship the package back to you at your expense. I mistakenly gave you the wrong shipping address when I placed my order?

Please make sure that your shipping address is correct before you submit your order to us, so that your package is delivered to you. If you give the wrong or a partial delivery address like not disclosing your apartment number, if you live in an apartment complex or the like, your package will most likely not reach you.

What if I ship my order back and it is lost in the mail, or your receiving center receives it in a damaged state?

We strongly recommend that you use a shipping service with tracking or delivery confirmation, so that you are covered for items lost in the mail. Insurance is also recommended. If the manufacturer receives your returned merchandise in a damaged state due to bad packaging or due to the fault of your carrier, then you will need to collect damages from the carrier in question, assuming you shipped the package insured. We will not be able to issue a refund or exchange in this situation.
